HMCS Whitehorse Donation To Yukon Literacy Coalition
December 12, 2018
Every year the crew of the HMCS Whitehorse raises money to donate to a different charitable
organization in our community. This year 6 members of the crew visited Whitehorse and
presented The Yukon Literacy Coalition with their donation. In thanks we welcomed the crew,
Mayor Dan Curtis, and former Mayor, senator, and “Ship Mother” Ione Christensen at both our
office and The Family Literacy Centre. Thank-you HMCS Whitehorse!

scavenger hunts, and our travelling Northern Books Library.
